Education and Early Career
Born and raised in Idaho, Kody Olinger graduated from Fruitland High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from Boise State University in 2014. Shortly after graduation, he was accepted into a highly competitive internship at one of America’s Top 10 gyms, Fitness Quest 10 in San Diego, California.
During his time at Fitness Quest 10, Kody transitioned into a full-time position specializing in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), a cutting-edge assisted stretching technique designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance movement. This role provided him with the opportunity to work directly with collegiate and professional athletes, including NFL stars Drew Brees and Darren Sproles.

Kody has continuously expanded his expertise, earning certifications as a:
- Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
- Precision Nutrition (PN1) Coach
- Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage (IASTM) Specialist

- Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Specialist
Return to Boise and Founding KO Recovery
In 2019, Kody returned to his Boise roots and launched KO Recovery LLC, with the mission of helping individuals from all walks of life move and feel their best. His work has earned him a reputation for excellence, attracting a diverse clientele, including athletes from Boise State University and Auburn University’s football teams.
Personal Achievements
Kody is a dedicated athlete himself, regularly participating in local races and triathlons. He has completed the Race to Robie Creek an impressive 11 consecutive times.
Life in Boise
Kody lives in Boise with his wife, Kylee, their daughter, Kennedy, and their dog, Kokomo. They enjoy the vibrant outdoor lifestyle Idaho offers and the close-knit community they call home.
